Meet the Teacher
Hi there! I'm Mrs. Ampuero and I want to welcome you to 4th Grade! Get excited for a wonderful school year!! After graduating from UCLA, I started my career teaching preschool and after-school classes for kindergarten through second grade.
As a life-long learner, I returned to school to earn my Masters in Education from Pacific Oaks College. While going to school I stayed active as a substitute teacher for schools in both Los Angeles County and Orange County.
I've been a teacher for the last thirteen years and I have loved every minute of it!
I could not imagine being anywhere else but in the classroom. Teaching my students has brought so much joy into my life. I love making a difference in the lives of children. I am always happy to help my students and their families as much as I possibly can.
When I'm not in the classroom with my amazing students, I love spending time with my husband (Mr. Ampuero), my dog (Manchas), and my cat (Arya). During the Covid-19 pandemic our family expanded by four feet, we adopted another dog (Cali).
